World Cup 2026 Prediction Game — Free to Play, Optional Prize Recognition
WC26 Predict is the UK's World Cup 2026 prediction game with a real community prize fund. Here is exactly how the competition works, how supporters are recognised, and how to enter.
Is the game really free?
Yes — WC26 Predict is completely free to play. Anyone can sign up at worldcup26.games, predict all 72 group stage matches, and appear on the live leaderboard at no cost. No card details required.
Free players can predict every match, follow the leaderboard in real time, track all 48 nations, and see live scores — all without paying a penny.
How does the prize recognition competition work?
To be eligible for prize recognition, you make a one-time optional supporter contribution of £11.50. This makes you "prize-eligible." At the end of the group stage, the top 10 prize-eligible players by total points receive a share of the community prize fund.

The Prizes page shows the current fund total in real time, updated as supporter contributions come in. You can see exactly what the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes are before you decide whether to contribute.
How the £11.50 breaks down
Prize fund contribution
Goes directly into the community prize fund for the top 10 finishers.
Charity donation
Goes to Thurso and District Pipe Band. UK taxpayers can boost this to £6.25 with Gift Aid.
Platform fee
Covers payment processing and site running costs.
When are prizes paid out?
Group stage prizes are confirmed once all 72 group stage matches have been played. The leaderboard is then finalised and the top 10 prize-eligible players are identified.
If you entered the tournament winner bonus prediction, that is calculated separately once the World Cup Final is played on 19 July 2026. Payouts are made after the final whistle.
Prize amounts scale with the number of supporter contributions. The more people who contribute, the bigger the fund. Prizes are confirmed on the Prizes page once entries close.
